Oz needs to be saved. He is a very rare Sumatran Tiger and has managed to successfully mate with the female at Hamilton Zoo. This led to 2 Sumatran cubs. What happened to his keeper is terrible, but I am 100% sure that her and any big-cat keeper would not undertake such a job without fully knowing the risks, thus, they would NOT want to see any of their cats put down because of such an incident. As many have already said, he was just doing what Tigers do. PLEASE Listen to the public and do the right thing. It would not be a good look for Hamilton at all if they do the unthinkable. This would also add fuel to the fire that the ruthless killing of Cecil the lion is an okay thing for humans to do. They are not our toys, they are the result of evolution over millions of years to become the apex predator that they are. Apex/Mega-fauna species are reducing in numbers becuase of Human interests. Modern Zoo's are supposed to help in international breeding programs, and Oz is still part of this.
