This is a small pocket on the corner of two roads, opposite one garden centre over the A4 and a farm shop on the other side of London Road. There are industrial units behind. This land was never a public amenity, which is the supposed purpose of Green Belt. The government policy of zero development on land designated 50 or more years ago is simply not keeping up with the current state of the land or people's desires for the use of the land. |
