Boycott Paparazzi Nightclub for Failing to Protect LGBTQ+ Patrons

I am writing this petition out of a personal and deeply troubling experience. A dear friend of mine, who identifies as queer, was subjected to hateful slurs at Paparazzi nightclub in Victoria, BC. The staff and security personnel at the club were aware of the situation but chose to do nothing. This incident is not just an attack on my friend but a blatant disregard for the safety and dignity of all LGBTQ+ individuals.

Paparazzi nightclub was once considered a safe space for our community. However, their recent actions have shown that they no longer deserve that title. Their refusal to intervene during such incidents creates an unsafe environment for patrons who identify as queer.

Furthermore, instead of acknowledging their mistakes and taking corrective measures, Paparazzi nightclub has chosen to delete comments on their social media platforms from people calling them out on their behavior.

This is unacceptable! We must take action now! As allies or members of the LGBTQ+ community ourselves, we should not support businesses that fail to uphold basic human rights and respect diversity.
