Bath Amlin final ticket ballot.
2014-05-09 23:41:05OK, today the Bath Amlin final ticket ballot has been drawn, some of us may have been successful, some of us not. I am led to beleive that not all notifications have been sent out yet so you might hear of your success over the weekend if the information is correct. I have my fingers crossed you do.
I still feel that it is worth keeping the pressure on because we have seen additional seats added to Cardiff Arms Park meaning 400 supporters have benefitted, although not solely down to this petition as there has been many people playing their part. But looking at the bigger picture I think this is a prime opportunity to send a message to the organisers of the new competition that this mistake cannot happen again. Therefore can I ask you all to hit the Facebook and Twitter buttons at the top of the page and make one last attempt to make people aware of this. It would be good to get over 2,000 names which would match the initial ticket allocation for both our clubs. The ERC are fully aware of this petition have the link so are aware of the numbers who have signed it. I intend to submit it formally to them on Monday morning, however will leave it open until the day of the game.
Lastly can I thank past players, current players, family members of players, the exec in each club, family members of those in the exec and employees of each club and the press who have showed their support.

Upping the anti
2014-05-02 22:55:22Please remember to press the Retweet and Facebook buttons at the top of this site as it means that this petition is shared with everyone you know.
Cracking game between the two teams this evening, 19 all was a fair result I think, but you Saints fans could have given it to us so we got a guaranteed a top 4 spot. Atmosphere was amazing, just what a final should be between the two teams, it's such a shame that many of us wont be able to attend.
Hopefully you have all seen the press coverage we have been getting, both in the UK and abroad, I have pasted some links below, I have also been it talks with TV today who are also showing support and looking to cover the story.
No movement on providing tickets for all our supporters i.e. moving the venue so I therefore suggest we up the anti.... play hardball so to speak, like both our teams did this evening!
Also there are a number of people who have been working behind the scenes on this, contacting press, doing radio interviews, lobbying the ERC etc etc. Can I just say many thanks to each and every one of you who might have done something no matter how small.
Anyway my email is jonevans70@yahoo.co.uk if you want to get touch or let me know if you are up for the above idea or indeed if you feel it's a terrible one. Alternatively my twitter account is @jonniejon123 just add me and contact me that way.

Communication from the ERC
2014-05-01 13:38:14My apologies, I do not wish to keep spamming you, however I have received an update from the ERC.
You may have heard that the ERC have arranged for 400 additional seats to be available Cardiff Arms Park and this was communicated to me today. I have replied back to Mark Jones (ERC Communications) on receipt of this, a copy of my reply is below together with the link to the ERC statement.

Hi Mark
Many thanks for yor reply.
Whist it is good to see that the ERC are looking at finding a solution an additional 400 seats will in no way satisfy demand, therefore we will continue to petition you until a suitable solution is found.
You will see that we have reached over one thousand names in less than 36 hours and since hitting this number I can inform you I have brought this to the attention of TV and the national press and they are showing great interest in the story. Therefore I look forward to you finding a soulution that meets then needs of the suppporters of Bath rugby club and Northampton rugby club.

2014-04-30 20:24:55Please remeber to hit the retweet buttons and facebook buttons at the top of the page to make as many people aware of this as possible.
As this petition is now starting to gain press coverage I made the ERC aware this afternoon of the petition, I was going to wait till we hit 1,000 names.
Press coverage I am aware of:
Email to ERC and reply to keep everyone in the loop, when I hear more I will post it:
Good afternoon
By now you may be aware of the online petition that has been running for less than 24 hours and has already gathered over 550 signatures as it has now been picked up by the press. You will also notice amongst the signatures are a number of high profile players past and present who are supporting this petition.
Quite simply we are petitioning the following:
Move the 2014 Amlin challenge cup to a bigger venue.
This petition is addressed to the ERC to show the strong feeling held the supporters of both Bath rugby club and Northampton rugby club who are due to meet the final of the Amlin challenge cup on the 23rd of May 2014. We petition that the ticket allocation given to both clubs are far too small to accommodate supporters of both clubs wishing to attend. Given that the majority of tickets have already been sold we petition that the ERC move the venue to a suitable venue that can accommodate such demand.
The link for the said online petition together with the signatories can be found here:

We look forward to your actions addressing the concerns we have raised.
Kind Regards
