Time has come!!!!!!
2014-07-14 18:47:48It is now time people, time to let your voice's be heard, and your vote's to be counted!! Let's send a message to those who only seek to further their personal agenda's. It's time to stand up for our town, our residents, and start creating a future for our childeren, and our childrens children. Let them have the wonderful memories that so many of you share about growing up in Fair Haven!!
Tonight is the Town Meeting, if you can make it please do! Most of all, we have to do everything in our power to get everyone out to VOTE!!
You have all seen the tax sheet put out by the Town by now. If not, you can find it on my FB page, or I would be happy to email it to you. We need to show those few who spread lies and misinformation that we will not accept their word any longer.
I hope to see you at Town Meeting.

July 15th Vote
2014-07-03 02:07:58Hello All,
Time is quickly approaching to send a message and approve our town budget. Our mission is to get every registered voter to cast their ballot.
In the meantime, Chris Cole and I have purchased some "Vote Yes" signs, that you have hopefully started to see around town. We still have a bunch left and we wanted this faithful group to have the opportunity to put one on their property. Obviously, we need these signs to get as much exposure as possible. So, if you have a great spot for a sign and would like one send me an email at timlanglois@msn.com.
Thanks Tim

Fair Haven Town Budget
2014-06-04 01:06:51The Town budget was defeated this evening by a vote of 210 no to 203 yes. I want to thank all of our supporters and those who worked hard to get the word out.
I think of this as a set back only! There is no clear message sent by the voters of Fair Haven. I believe we have many more supporters out there that were unable to cast their vote today. With over 1,400 registered voters and a turnout of only 413 there is a lot of room for growth. We must make our voice's heard and continue to fight for what we believe is right for our town.

VOTING IS ON JUNE 3, 2014
2014-05-28 01:35:09
TIME HAS COME!!! We will be voting on the town budget on June 3rd. Our select board has reduced the expenditure budget by $47,138
through a painstaking process that I personally watched. You should also be aware that this is a reduction from the current budget by $76,363!! Though our town has a lot of work to do, our goal of a sustainable future cannot be achieved by purely cutting expenditures! We have to think bigger picture and longer terms to make effective meaningful change. Unfortunately, there are some good people being misled by a few. These few are willing to manipulate information and spread mistruths in order to pursue a personal agenda. This irresponsible and reckless behavior cannot be allowed to take our town down a road that could take us decades to repair.
We must take it upon ourselves to get our friends, family, & neighbors out to vote. Make no mistake, it is going to take all of us to get this budget passed. Passing this budget is crucial to our town’s future. If this budget is not passed, the select board will be forced to cut Police funding, therefore reducing our current coverage levels. The State Police cannot make up what we will lose by cutting a forth officer. The select board has to do the work we have tasked them to do, plan for a sustainable future, and stop catering to the personal agenda of a few.
SPECIAL TOWN MEETING: FISCAL YEAR 2014-2015 SELECTBOARD BUDGET
ARTICLE 1 Shall the voters of Fair Haven vote to approve the Selectboard’s fiscal year 2014-15 budget of $1,861,421, of which $1,418,674 shall be raised by taxes and $442,747 by anticipated non-tax revenues?
ARTICLE 2 To transact any other business properly to be done at the Special Town Meeting.
The polling place for receiving Australian ballots under Article 1 will be open at 10:00 A.M. and remain open until 7:00 P.M. at the Fair Haven Post 49 Legion Building.

Keeping the Momentum
2014-04-19 13:50:21I hope everyone is doing well. Spring has finally sprung! Monday is the next special budget meeting and it is going to be important to let our Select Board members know exactly how you feel. Our solidarity is our best tool at this point so please encourage all of your Fair Haven friends and family to sign our petition. Share the link to the online petition, or they can sign one of the petitions at Liberty Street Market, Cleanorama, or the Fair Haven Pizza house. Thanks for your help, and let's get the word spread and protect our town from those who would carelessly, and recklessly make a decision that would have long term affects without the necessary information.
Thanks Tim

Keep the momentum
2014-03-27 19:30:00Hello All,
How are your networking skills??? We have a little over 100 signatures today. That is awesome, but we can’t stop now!! We need to actively seek our Fair Haven friends, husbands, wives, and relatives to sign up. It appears the board will be reviewing the police budget this evening. I will report back to you how things went tomorrow.
Let’s keep our momentum and get as many signatures as we can. Thanks for your help, and together let’s build for a better, stronger, and more prosperous future!!
